While memory foam products come with many great benefits for your health, they also come with something else; a semi potent initial smell. When you first open your memory foam product you will notice that is has what appears to be a faint smell of gasoline. This smell will naturally dissipate over time and is non-toxic. Once the smell has gone away, you will be able to experience all the benefits of having a memory foam product.
Pillows and other comfort items are non-returnable and do not have a tryout period.

Overpriced and Lumpy April 7, 2010 Becky Lowrey (The Woodlands, TX, US) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
These pillows are way too expensive and you cannot return them. They are lumpy and hard. I cannot sleep on them because they hurt my neck. Total waste of money.
Way too hard April 1, 2010 Kate (Illinois) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Let me start by saying that I love my tempurpedic mattress; I think it was one of the best purchases that I ever made. Also, my husband loves this pillow, would give it 5 stars, so YMMV.
Simply put, even though this is supposed to be the soft pillow in the Tempurpedic line, it is way too hard. I used it for 3 months, and every single morning, I woke up with the worst headache. I finally had to give up and go back to my old down filled pillows, which is unfortunate, because this was really good for my neck.
If you like a VERY FIRM pillow, you may find this product useful.
This thing saved my neck. Literally! February 13, 2010 T. Beal (Cambridge, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The old adage, "You get what you pay for." is very appropriate in this case. After one, yes ONE night of sleeping on this pillow, the stiffness and pain in my neck is noticeably less.
I must've aggravated an old injury in my upper back while at the gym recently. As such, for a week straight, I was waking up in pure agony. It felt like an icepick was being shoved into my spine at the base of my neck. So, do I keep downing Advil like they were M&M's or do I try to find a real solution? I started by telling myself that the lousy pillows I was using was doing nothing to heal this recently revitalized upper back injury. I had no intention of buying a Tempur-Pedic pillow at all, really. I just wanted something that was thicker and firmer than what I was currently sleeping on, pillow-wise.
I'll tell ya, folks, I went into the local mattress-superstore and test drove a few pillows and for the life of me, I could not get uncomfortable with the Tempur-Pedic. I not only kicked its tires, I ground the gears, slammed the doors and tried to blow out the speakers. And nothing I did convinced me that plunking down this kind of cash was anything but a solid investment. Nothing! My test drive was unshakably comfirmed last night. My litmus test was when I began to sit up and was at about a 30-degree angle and that icepick that had so recently tortured me, was now gone. There's still a residual cramping in my back and neck, but did I expect this pillow would "cure" me overnight? No. Talk to me in about a week, however. Something tells me that I'll be ready to resume my breakdancing lessons again. Buy this pillow.
No Need To Count Sheep October 13, 2009 R. Crane (Washington, DC United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love sleeping on the comfort pillow. It is extremely comfortable and provides excellent support. When you lay back, other parts of the pillow do not pop up into your face; everything remains the same except your head is in a great position. It is easy to relax and fall asleep--I do not find myself tossing and turning like I often do with other pillows, punching the pillows, looking for just that "right spot". The only negative thing is that it is heavier than other pillows to lift and move. That is a small price to pay for an evening of peaceful sleep.
***Do not confuse with the TravelComfort Pillow, which is wonderful but is much smaller in size and appropriate for a support pillow, not for sleeping.
